This program no longer works. Everytime I open the app it attempts to load and then crashes. I havent been able to use it in a long time.

Does not backup bookmarks.

Try to open the app and it does but then it closes right away. Takes them too long to fix upgrade.

This app seems to be going to pot.

Continuously crashes before the app opens. Ive had this program for years and purchased multiple resources, but it was wasted money because I cant access anything.

App developer should update app or sell it to someone who will care for it. It is too good of an app to languish with maybe one update per year when bugs need to be addressed.

I wish I had never spent money on buying add-on books for this product. They dont support it on newer devices so the books I purchased can no longer be used.

Application worked beautifully with iPad 3 but when I bought an iPad Air, it wont open. Too bad. Please fix ASAP.

Ive used your app for years on my iPad2 and love it. Its become part of my daily devotion routine. I just upgraded to the iPad Air and now I cant even open the app. Crashes as it loads. Please fix it! I miss my cyber-bibles and commentaries!

App crashes and is a mess. Weve spent money on the resources and cant access them. Either update it or sell this to someone who will take care of what could be an amazing app.

For those of you who have had this app crash on you since the release of iOS 8, delete the app from your device and redownload it from the App Store. It fixed the crashing problem for me, and is working as well as it did before the update

Ive used this app for years but others have passed it by with double columns for iPad and better navigation. I have some money invested in their Bibles and commentaries but cant use it on the iPad.

What is taking them so long to fix this for iOS8? I love this app, but it will not even run.

This Bible apps is one of the reasons I stuck with an iPhone for soo long. I love this app. It has some issues that other reviewers have amply noted, but the function of this app is far greater than any downfall. I love the ability to use the NASB and cross reference and look at Hebrew and Greek definitions within the text. This makes doing word studies a breeze. This is a great app provides great offline functionality.

I see CHRISTIANS really ripping on the Mantis people and giving low ratings because they had problems BROUGHT ON BY APPLES IOS 8.0 "UPGRADE". Let that soak in. Vent your fury on the right people. I had problems too - it would NOT run, and I had to uninstall then reinstall it. Fortunately, I had exercised basic computer common sense and periodically backed up all my personal settings on Mantis server (for free). The reinstall was easy - their servers remembered me once I logged in, and I easily reinstalled all my purchased bibles, commentaries, dictionaries, etc. What more do you want the Mantis people to do about this? Send a tech over to your house and write a custom program for your unique problem? Lighten up.

Will not let me download previous purchase add ons to my new iPad mini device. I sent them an email but no one responded

This has been by far the best bible app Ive ever had until the last iOS update. It began crashing every time so I reinstalled it and restored all my notes and bookmarks. However the multiple purchases I had made over the years would not restore. I tried multiple times and even deleted and reinstalled multiple times. I went to the mantis website and contacted them through their response form explaining the situation. Its been weeks and I have received no response. This app has been and can be fantastic but the lack of support is making it almost useless to me now. I hope it can be restored to what it was before and if so I will write a glowing review. But as of now I cant recommend it to anyone. (Which is a shame because Ive recommended it to numerous people over the years) Please help!
